The Pre-Marriage Course is a series of five sessions, designed for couples considering marriage, whether engaged or not, and wishing to build a strong and lasting relationship. While based on Christian principles, it is relevant and helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background. The founders, Nicky and Sila Lee, have been married for over forty years and speak regularly on relationships and marriage preparation. They are co-authors of The Marriage Book.
How does it work?
The course runs exactly as it would be if you were attending in person. If you are not in the same location, you can still do the course by having each ordered a journal, watching the film of the relevant session simultaneously and conducting your conversations when indicated by Skype, FaceTime or Zoom.
Each session lasts for 1 hour 45 minutes, half of which will be for your conversations.
If you are in the same location, try to make it feel as special as possible. Don’t forget the candles, snacks, drinks, older kids in another room and the younger ones in bed.
