Join us every Sunday morning as we gather to worship, connect, and grow together. Come and enjoy some refreshments in the foyer as doors open at 10am.
Each week we hear from a variety of speakers, all bringing practical, Bible-based messages to help us live our our Christian faith in everyday life.
We offer dedicated groups for children and youth, creating safe, fun and engaging spaces for every age.
Children Groups
Age 1 to End of Reception. Kingdom Explorers is our youngest group at Freedom Church, designed to be a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where little ones begin discovering God’s
love.
Through games, stories, worship, and creative activities, children explore faith in a joyful and age-appropriate way.
Year 1 to End of Year 6. Adventurers is our group for primary-school-aged children, where faith and fun go hand in hand.
With high-energy games, team challenges, teaching, and crafts, children grow in confidence, build friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in
everyday life.
Youth Group
Secondary School Age Year 7 - Age 17
NXGen is our youth space for teenagers who want to explore faith, purpose, and belonging — all while having an unforgettable time.
Packed with challenges, team games, and meaningful discussions, young people build strong friendships, grow in confidence, and discover what it means to
follow Jesus as the next generation.
Freedom Church in Colchester has been meeting together since 2008. We love meeting people where they are at right now, without pretense or having to pretend to be someone you're not.
It doesn't matter if you've never stepped inside of a church before or if you're looking to rediscover a faith that might have fallen asleep a long time ago. We'd love to get to know you, your story and what's brought you to this point in your life.
