Freedom Church founded by Paul & Karen Carr, is a non-denominational Christian church with a vision to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to others, disciple believers into maturity and equipping them to fulfil their God given calling. Paul & Karen answered the Lords calling in 1989 and have been in ministry since 1997. Having been trained under Jill Southern on Ellel Ministry first NETS course.

We seek to help people in their walk with Jesus, through various opportunity including Alpha, The Marriage Course, Prayer Ministry & Teaching. We love to hold different course giving people the opportunity to grow in their faith. Since March 2020 we have held a prominent place in online teaching.

Freedom Church started meeting in Colchester in 2008 in various locations, in 2020 because of Covid they took the opportunity to start an Online Church.We are now meeting both live in Great Horkesley village hall and on YouTube.

It does not matter if you've never stepped inside of a church before or if you're looking to rediscover a faith that might have fallen asleep a long time ago or you would like to discover more about the Christian faith. We would love to get to know you, your story and what is brought you to this point in your life.
